Dr. Andreas Hautkappe is a partner and the head of the Business Reorganization and Restructuring Group of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Frankfurt. He is also a member of the firm’s Corporate and Financial Services Department.
Dr. Hautkappe specializes in advising on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, pre- and post-insolvency scenarios, corporate law issues, including corporate restructurings and corporate finance, as well as compliance matters. He regularly advises financial investors, companies, banks and other creditors, shareholders, management and advisors.
Chambers Europe (2011) and Chambers Global (2011) rank Dr. Hautkappe among the leading individuals practicing in the area of restructuring/ Insolvency Law in Germany.
Dr. Hautkappe is fluent in German, English and French.

Dr. Hautkappe is a member of TMA and INSOL Europe. He serves as a lecturer at the Institute for Law and Finance of the University of Frankfurt.
