Bruce C. Herzog is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. Mr. Herzog specializes in private equity matters, including complex leveraged buyouts, venture capital investments, portfolio company acquisitions, and financings and liquidity transactions. He also regularly handles fund formation projects, implements fund compensation arrangements, and advises fund principals with respect to liability issues. Mr. Herzog has particular experience working with private equity firms in the energy sector in addition to the telecommunications, diversified manufacturing and life sciences sectors. Prior to joining Willkie, Mr. Herzog was a partner at Vinson & Elkins, where he served as Co-Chair of the firm’s private equity practice. He was also previously the Co-CEO of Genesis Park, a Houston-based venture capital firm (2000-01), and served as law clerk to the Honorable Homer Thornberry of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (1988-89).Education
