Dianne E. O'Donnell is special counsel in the Asset Management Group of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. Ms. O'Donnell specializes in advising mutual funds and investment advisers on a broad range of issues. She has particular expertise in the preparation of disclosure documents. Ms. O'Donnell has 30 years of experience in the area of mutual fund regulation, including service with the SEC and extensive experience as in-house counsel for two mutual fund complexes affiliated with major broker-dealers. Ms. O'Donnell is a member of the Committee on the Federal Regulation of Securities of the American Bar Association and the Women’s Investment Management Forum. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the William and Mary Law School Foundation. She has spoken at a number of conferences on investment company issues.Prior Experience
Prior to joining Willkie, Ms. O' Donnell was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, the asset management subsidiary of PaineWebber Incorporated (now UBS Global Asset Management) from 1986 to 2001. She was an attorney with the Division of Investment Management of the SEC from 1976 to 1982, rising to the title of Special Counsel to the Director of the Division. She was also an Associate General Counsel of The Boston Company Advisors, Inc., a subsidiary of Shearson Lehman Brothers, from 1983 to 1986.Education
