Emily M. Zeigler is of counsel in the Asset Management Group of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. Ms. Zeigler's practice focuses on hedge funds, commodity pools and investment advisors. She has been active in assisting clients in structuring domestic and offshore funds, including private placements and public offerings. Ms. Zeigler also specializes in commodities and derivatives. She regularly provides advice to industry professionals and institutional participants on exchange-traded futures and options and regulatory compliance programs. She also assists clients in developing and/or reviewing over-the-counter derivative instruments, including hybrid products and swaps. Selected Professional and Business Activities
Ms. Zeigler is currently the Chair of the Sub-Committee on CPOs and CTAs of the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Futures and Derivatives. She is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Committee on the Regulation of Futures and Derivative Instruments and is a past Chair of the Committee on Futures Regulation of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Additionally, Ms. Zeigler serves as a member of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Global Markets Advisory Committee.Ms. Zeigler is a contributor to and editor of the Futures & Derivatives Law Report. She has been a frequent lecturer in her areas of expertise, including at meetings of the Futures Industry Association’s Law & Compliance Division and the ABA’s Committee on the Regulation of Futures and Derivative Instruments.
