Jon Lyman is a partner in the London office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Mr. Lyman has broad experience in international corporate and securities law matters, including representing U.S. and international corporate and investment banking clients in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, private equity transactions and other corporate matters. Mr. Lyman has worked on various significant cross-border transactions, including advising Gemalto N.V. (then Axalto Holding N.V.) in its €1.8 billion tender offer for U.S. registrant Gemplus International S.A., and Total S.A. as controlling shareholder of Sanofi-Synthelabo on Sanofi's €55 billion acquisition of Aventis. He worked on Swiss Reinsurance Company’s investment in Atradius (formerly Gerling NCM) and Atradius' agreed business combination with Credito y Caucion, and also represented underwriters CSFB and Morgan Stanley in the $3.5 billion equity, convertible debt and rights offering for Swiss Re. Additionally, Mr. Lyman advised Schneider Electric in its €1 billion rights offering, and has advised on acquisitions and equity and debt offerings for international issuers such as Thales, Elior and Converium (SCOR).
