Margery K. Neale is a partner in the Asset Management Group of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York.  Ms. Neale specializes in organizing and counseling registered investment companies and advising clients that offer alternative investment vehicles, such as hedge funds, collective trusts, and novel investment products.  She has significant experience advising on regulatory issues affecting the creation and operation of investment companies and business development companies, and on merger and acquisition transactions.  

Ms. Neale serves as fund counsel, and represents independent directors.  Additionally, she has assisted investment advisers on a wide range of matters, including the creation and operation of asset allocation programs involving mutual funds, wrap fee programs, compliance matters and internal investigations. 

Chambers USA (2011) ranks Ms. Neale among the leading individuals nationally practicing in the area of Investment Funds: Registered Funds.
