Massimo Chiais is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department of Delfino e Associati, the Italian affiliate of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, in Milan.  Mr. Chiais specializes in M&A, private equity, general corporate law, and commercial contracts.  He regularly represents private and institutional investors and large enterprises in a range of corporate activities, including acquisitions and disposals of assets and on-going concerns, and contract negotiations.

Mr. Chiais is a member of the Tax and Legal Committee of the Italian Private Equity Association.  He regularly speaks at conferences and seminars and has served as lecturer at the University of Rome.

Prior to joining Willkie, Mr. Chiais was with Italian law firm Ughi e Nunziante.  He also previously served as in-house counsel with ENI Group, the Italian State-owned oil corporation, where he was assigned to a major project in Venezuela for one year.
