Peter J. Allman is special counsel to the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. Mr. Allman specializes in the design, implementation and administration of qualified and non-qualified pension, profit sharing, 401(k), and stock bonus plans.

Mr. Allman also has significant experience in employee benefit matters involving corporate acquisitions and divestitures, and in executive employment, severance and change-of-control agreements. He regularly represents clients in employee benefit plan matters before the Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

Mr. Allman is a member of the Editorial Board of Advisers of the Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance and the Journal of Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation.  He is also a member of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Allman’s publications include Withholding, Social Security and Unemployment Taxes on Compensation, Tax Management Portfolio 392 (1986) (1991) (1995) (1999) (2004); Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act (co-author), Tax Management Portfolio 982 (1982) and Withholding, Social Security and Unemployment Taxes on Compensation, 14 Compensation Planning Journal 46 (February 7, 1986).
