Vincenza Altieri is special European counsel to Delfino e Associati, the Italian affiliate of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Rome.  Ms. Altieri is involved in both the firm’s Corporate and Financial Services Department and Private Clients Group.  She specializes in trusts and cross-border investment structures, and has extensive experience handling cross-border mergers and acquisitions in Australia and in Italy.

Ms. Altieri also assists Italian and foreign high net-worth families, their trusts, and underlying operative companies and family businesses.  In particular, she has been providing comprehensive and ongoing assistance with respect to Italian investments of large international private equity funds owned by foreign trusts and investing in Italy and worldwide.

Ms. Altieri is fluent in English and Italian.

Ms. Altieri is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (Australia), the Italian Association on Trusts (Il Trust in Italia) and the Milan Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).  She has lectured at an undergraduate course at the Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne) and has recently been lecturing on the role of trusts in investment structures at the International Business Law Masters program of the University of Rome “La Sapienza.”   Ms. Altieri has participated as speaker at various conferences in Italy on trusts and other vehicles addressing change of ownership and management of medium-sized Italian companies.

Prior to joining Willkie in 2000, Ms. Altieri was a senior associate at Ughi e Nunziante (1998 – 2000) and served as a  solicitor in the State of Victoria, Australia (1994 – 1997).
