The Paris office is currently advising Limagrain in the formation of a strategic alliance with French sovereign fund Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement. The alliance will result in the FSI investing €150 million in Groupe Limagrain Holding (GLH). The proceeds of the investment will be utilized by GLH to finance its participation in a proposed capital increase of Vilmorin & Cie, a Euronext Paris listed company. Limagrain is an independent cooperative group and worldwide leader in breeding and selling seeds of plant varieties intended for farmers, and market and home gardeners producing ingredients and manufacturing bakery products. The matter is being handled by partner Eduardo Fernandez, special European counsel Julien Mougel, and associates Charles Cardon and Élise Carrera.
